xbox 360 has partnered with last.fm and zune (not that i like zune), but it's still pretty cool! ooh, and they have also added facebook to it as well! man, if this keeps up, kids will never have a reason to leave their house! everything is now consolidated into tiny devices (the smaller the better!)
now instead of being really good at one thing, you must do a type of monopoly and do "it" ALL in one thing. shoooot, why buy a toaster oven when you can buy a toaster oven that will also deep fry and grill meat! i suppose this can be a good thing for the consumer. *BUT* when you focus minimally on many things, the quality of the overall product is NOT as good as focusing on one project! it's like they say, you can't always master everything; at least, not unless you're sony!
for instance: i am now using my xbox to watch streaming movies and play video games, all awhile socializing with my buddies! i bought a p3s ONLY to utilize bluray AND play games; it makes sense right? why only buy a bluray player when you can also play games on the ps3?! anyhow, technology is a little frightening when you think about it. i hope i die before the world turns into this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0986263/
