"give" is in forgive/forgiven

forget about the mistakes you made years ago, an hour ago, or even a month from now. All you have to remember is that with every mistake, there comes new opportunity. it's fascinating, really. this life can be simplified through a multiple choice of Yes or No. that's to say that we probably make the right decision 50% of the time, and "wing" the rest. it's useless to beat yourself up over things that can't be undone. and yes, it is easy to say AND do. here are few enlightening tips to boil over....

1) we sin - and you know what? we will probably continue to sin too, guaranteed or your money back.

2) we're forgiven 24x7/365, even while dreaming

3) ok, so you screwed up. now what? well, to say this bluntly: you can either pigeonhole yourself until you go crazy ORRRRR you can suck it up and do something about it. I don't know about anyone else, but i would rather find a resolution.

4) why do you think Jesus took his life? he already knew WAY ahead of time that we were going to fail miserably at life. i mean, do you thank we're worth being saved? are we worth anything at all? well, OF COURSE we are! BUT we won't always feel that way. guilt should always be temporary!! it is only there to help you identify when something is wrong, not to sit there and invite it to dinner. so, while we might feel unworthy and undeserving at times, it is important to know that God has already forgiven you and loves you regardless of anything you torture yourself about. if god can forgive you, why can't you do the same? to add to that topic, since #4 is taking over this blog: it's equally important to forgive other people too! the same rules apply. holding in pain and/or anger will stunt your heart longer than necessary and possible even increase the damages. if someone hurt you and you're waiting on them to make you feel better, honestly, that day may never come. so instead, let it go and hand it over to God. have a nice long talk with him. tell him how you feel and how you're hurting inside. trust me, nobody is more capable than Him, not even you.
